At this age group, we begin with players pitching in the games. There are 65-foot bases and 46-foot pitching distance. We continue to focus on the fundamentals, but we also spend more time teaching other aspects of the game, like leading and stealing, bunting, game strategies, etc. Of course, at this age we also begin to teach pitching. In the Spring seasons, there are Challenge and All-star teams.

Practices are usually 1 1/2 - 2 hours and are held on Field #2 or #3 at Quail Hollow Middle School. There are usually two practices per week: one weekday practice (Monday through Friday evening) and one Saturday practice. After the 1st game, there is usually just a weekday practice. The weekday practice will rotate to a different day each week.
