The Park Sharon 11Y All Star team placed 2nd in the CCBL All Star Invitational tournament held June 19-21 hosted at MARA.
The team started their tournament play Saturday morning with a tough 13-0 loss to MARA. Later that afternoon they beat Porter Ridge 9-6 and on Sunday they beat Southpark 8-2 and Indian Trail 3-1. With a 3-0 record in round-robin play, the Park Sharon 11Y All Stars advanced to the championship game Sunday evening. Unfortunately, they lost to MARA once again in a hard fought game by only 1 run; the final score was 8-7.
